First of all i thought about sharing some history of Eid because i have many international readers so those who dont know can get the idea of what our festival is all about.

( please dont comment anything rude whatever religion you are a part of you should respect each and every religion thankyou)

History of Eid (for those who dont know):

Eid al-Fitr also called Feast of Breaking the Fast, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslim world wide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. The religious Eid is a single day and Muslims are not permitted to fast on that day. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. The day of Eid, therefore, falls on the first day of the month of Shawal. This is a day when Muslims around the world show a common goal of unity.

How Do We Celeberate:

Eid al-Fitr is celebrated for one, two or three days. Common greetings during this holiday are the Arabic greeting ‘Eid Mubārak("Blessed Eid").Muslims are also encouraged on this day to forgive and forget any differences with others or animosities that may have occurred during the year.Everyone put on there best clothes and pay visits to their loved ones. Eid is mainly enjoyed by the kids, as they mostly receive money in cash called "Eidi" as gift by every elder in the family and relatives At home family members enjoy special Eid breakfast with various types of sweets and desserts.
